Rowan's passion for business creation, people management and customer service have been fundamental to the success of the business. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honours in marketing, which he completed in 1995. One of Rowan's greatest gifts is his ability to identify talent in other people and to understand how this talent can contribute towards CJR's collective strength. Testimony to this is the many talented people in CJR's team and their tenure at the organisation. That being said, Rowan is just an average individual with above-average enthusiasm and zest for success, backed by a great team of people who all work very hard to find innovative ways to satisfy consumers' appetite for style and to provide service excellence to retailers.

Gail has been with CJR since the beginning and overseeing the financial division of the business. She sets high standards for herself and her team, and embraces the daily challenges of business with a calm demeanor. She believes that the crucial ingredients for running a successful business are; integrity, compassion towards others and ones ability to be a team player- attributes which she not only possesses, but which she has helped instill in other members of the CJR Team.

Kayleigh has worker for CJR Gift Sales since May 2017. She previosly work at an electrical engineering and manufacturing company, where she ran the Production Control and Planning Department. With more than 7 years experience in an ISO certified company, she has a lot of experience with CPA's and KPI reporting. She has also gained extensive knowledge in creating and implementing systems and procedures as well as training employees in carring out these systems. Kayleigh's experience has equipped her with strong operational skills- most notably planning and management skills. Her acute attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to implement and tailor make business systems will go a long way to achieving optimal efficiency and productivity within her department.
Andreya joined the CJR team in September 2014. She joined with 11 years experience in the watch industry, the majority of which were spent managing a retail store. Her years of experience have equipped her with an in-depth understanding of the customer repair process. Andreya has a passion for her work and a strong need for organisation and protocol. She believes that every client is equally important and therefore strives to include integrity and love in her work every day.

Cynthia joined CJR Gift Sales in January 2014. Cynthia has a diploma in Sports Management and worked as a Gym Manager for 3 years before joining CJR Gift Sales.In this role she gained extensive operational experience including hiring, training & supervising staff, daily report generationm and the planning of fitness assessments and new member orientations. She initially joined the CJR customer service department, assisting with receiving ordersand data capturing. Cynthia's excellent planning and people skills, as well as her dedication to the business has allowed her to progress to the title of Warehouse Manger. In her current role, she strives to ensure 100% customer satisfaction through timely order despatching, eliminating of backlogs am implementing excellent standards amoungst her team.
Hilton joined CJR in May 2016. He has a B.com. Marketing Management degree with majors in both Business Management and Logistics. He has worked on a number of business start-ups and has also has experience consulting in Marketing and Business Strategy. Hilton's studies and experience have equipped him with an in-depth understanding of the market place. He has a charismatic and go-getting attitude and is very proud to be launching Superdry watches into the market. He envisions great success for this brand.

Joining the team in July 2013, Dean is relatively new to CJR Gift Sales. Certainly not new to the industry, having worked with watches for almost 25 years. Dean’s experience in the industry is extensive, ranging from retail to wholesale and from design to packaging. Dean aspires to continue the Hallmark legacy by evolving the brand to meet the modern consumers’ needs, whilst simultaneously maintaining its authenticity. Dean is also the Brand Manager of our newly launched brand- Sissy boy watches. He is hugely excited to be managing the latest brand extension of this dynamic and renowned South African fashion brand. Dean’s passion for watches, keen eye for design and detail and his in-depth understanding of the industry allows him to excel in his role, while eagerly anticipating ongoing brand success.

Ann joined CJR Gift Sales in July 2014. She has had an amazing 24 years of experience in the Customer Service Industry, focused specifically in the retail and aviation fields. In these industries she engaged with a diverse range of customers gaining invaluable leadership and management skills. In addition, Ann prides herself on her excellent time management and multi-tasking skills and hopes to leverage these skills to elevate Obaku to become the Danish designed watch of choice in the SA market.

Michael Joined the CJR Gift Sales team in 2016, originally as the Account Manager for Police. Having proved himself as a valuable member of the team, with his hard work and dedication, he has been promoted to the Brand Manager position as of September 2017. Michael comes with retail experience in the cosmetics sector as well as in radio advertising. He is confident he can grow the Police brand from strength to strength and maintain its established stature in the market place.

Carmen has worked at CJR for just under 4 years, and in this time has added immense value to the team Carmen picked up her love and passion for the watch trade, while working in a jewellery store. Upon joining CJR in 2011, she started off as an assistant to the Police Brand Manager through hard work, ambition and total dedication to CJR, she quickly worked her way up to become brand manager for two brands- Timberland and Sissy Boy. Carmen is excited to be managing the recently launched Sissy Boy watch range, a brand extension of the locally renowned fashion brand, which has achieved huge success in the SA marketplace. She is confident that her ambitions and continued hard work will take Timberland and Sissy Boy to new levels in the industry.

Jackie joined CJR in March 2015 bringing with her 25 years of solid marketing experience in numerous industries, from toys to hospitality. With her creative flair and entrepreneurial spirit, she brings a new dimension to the team. Jackie takes on challenges with a holistic and determined approach, and aims to leverage her skills and extensive experience to grow the Citizen brand from strength to strength.

Sheryl joined CJR in 2004, which coincided with the company’s appointment as the sole Southern African distributor of Police watches. Although she no longer works on the brand, Sheryl’s claim to fame is in having elevated the Police brand to one of the most successful lifestyle brands in the market. Sheryl currently manages Fcuk, Morgan and our newly launched brand, Daniel Klein. Sheryl’s success with her brands can be attributed to her passion and in depth understanding of her brand portfolio and the broader industry. She has assembled a team of dedicated individuals who share the same enthusiasm and dedication, a sure ingredient for continued success.

Natalie completed a BCom degree with distinction from Wits University in 2003 with honours in marketing and human resources.. She has since then had extensive experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry, initially working as a marketing graduate, and quickly working her way up to brand management level, where she managed a variety of personal care, health care and family care brands. In November 2010, Natalie joined the CJR team as a Marketing Strategist. Her past experience and avid passion for watches and marketing has allowed her to effectively establish a clear footprint for each brand. She embraces the challenge of consistently “upping the bar” by differentiating and making a mark for each brand in our competitive market context.
