OVERVIEW OF THE BASICS

THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

WHAT?

FREE Rewards programme to recognize the loyalty of our retail community. It is based on the FNB eWallet payment solution. This is a pin code based platform, which allows for instantaneous electronic payments to recipients without the need for a bank account. This payment system is safe, allows you easy access to cash and is flexible (you need not withdraw all funds at one time). It also offers you the option to purchase airtime via an ATM and even send money to friends and family who are also registered with the eWallet platform.

ON WHAT?

Applicable on all CJR branded products: Citizen, Police, Timberland, Daniel Klein, Hallmark, Obaku Denmark, Sissy Boy and Superdry watches.

REWARD STRUCTURE

One reward is earned for every R50 retail sales value on any CJR brand. One reward = R1, with Rands paid to recipients electronically. Once you have signed up and registered, you can gain access to your money via a pin code sent to your cellphone.

REGISTERING

Membership is free. The process to register is simple: receive your registration form in the registration pack which you can get from a CJR Gift Sales Account Manager, or alternatively find the form online, and register by completing the form and e-mailing, faxing 011-257-6001 or once again submitting it online. Please note your cell phone number plus ID (or passport) number will be required when registering, together with a copy of your ID or passport (We do fully comply with FICA requirements). Note - You do not need a smart phone to participate in this programme. We urge you to ensure you provide CJR with the correct cellphone number prior to using the eWallet service (If you initiate a SIM swap or change your cellphone number - please ensure you inform CJR Gift Sales of your new cellphone number). An SMS confirmation of your registration will be sent to you within 48 hours (excluding submission on weekends or public holidays which will then take up to 72 hours). Immediately upon a complete registration, you will qualify for rewards.

 

CLAIMING REWARDS

You will be able to start claiming rewards once we have received a complete registration form from you, including a copy of your ID or passport. Please note you must have submitted a valid cell phone number to be able to claim rewards.

No claims will be processed without proof of sales, either receipts, physical tags or sales reports. Other information that will need to

be included is brand name, model number, date of sale and recommended selling price. Incomplete application claim forms will be rejected. This needs to be done by no later than the 7th of each month to receive awards in that particular month.

Are there any conditions around claiming rewards?

• Only items sold and recorded in the month and 2 months prior to the date of submitting your

application form, will be valid, for example an application claim from submitted in May can only

reflect items sold in May, April, and March. Items sold in February or earlier will be rejected.

• A minimum of 100 rewards (= R100 ) is required for a claim to be processed, anything less will be carried

forward to the following month.

• A maximum of 4999 Timeless Rewards (= R4999) can be claimed in one month, amounts above

this must be claimed the following month.

REDEEMING REWARDS

All  reward payments into your eWallet account will be done before the 20th of every month, as long as the balance is a minimum of R100. Once a payment has been made, an SMS will be sent from eWallet.  The SMS specifies how much has been paid to you and contains information on how to activate the eWallet. You must activate the eWallet before being able to use the funds.

How do I activate the eWallet?

You activate the eWallet by dialling the dial string *120*277#. If you don’t have enough airtime to dial the activation dial string, you may dial *130*277# to top up the airtime. You must activate the eWallet within 12 (twelve) business days from receiving the activation SMS. If the eWallet is not activated within 12 (twelve) business days, the funds are returned to CJR Gift Sales. Please note; you should treat the eWallet as cash and must keep the eWallet PIN and your cellphone safe. You are encouraged to set a 5 digit eWallet PIN to secure access to the eWallet, but this is optional. If you forget the eWallet PIN, it can be reset or removed, dial *120*277#.

How do I get the cash from the eWallet?

You can get cash by withdrawing the funds at any FNB ATM. You need a Temporary ATM PIN to cash out all or part of the funds in the eWallet. You can get the Temporary ATM PIN by using the dial string *120*277# or using the FNB Banking App. The Temporary PIN is valid for only 30 minutes from the time it is sent. If the Temporary ATM PIN is not used within the time period, it will expire and you must ask for a new one, by dialing the dial string *120*277# on your cellphone or via FNB Banking App.  You will be able to set your own personal permanent pin code when at the FNB ATM itself.

Please note there is a service fee of R6.50 per deposit made into your eWallet account. There is also a fee for withdrawals from the ATM. The fee is R6.40 for a withdrawal of R500 or less, R12.80 for withdrawals between R500 - R1000, and R19.20 for withdrawals of R1000+. Balance enquiries and mini statement transactions are free of charge. A dormancy fee of R6.00 applies if your account has been dormant for 6 months or longer.

Terms & Conditions

1.        Users of the Timeless Rewards (eWallet) Service agree to use the service at their own risk, and CJR Gift Sales and FNB will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising out of such use, unless the loss or damage is the fault of FNB's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

2.        You will be liable for any unauthorized transaction that has been debited to the Timeless Rewards (eWallet) by any person other than the eWallet Recipient using the eWallet PIN, unless it can be proved that such person got the eWallet PIN as a result of FNB's gross negligence or an act of fraud on FNB.

3.        You indemnify CJR Gift Sales and FNB against any claims by third parties or loss suffered by any eWallet User arising from the use of eWallet Services.

4.        You will not hold CJR Gist Sales or FNB responsible for any loss or damage suffered due to funds being sent to the incorrect cellphone number provided by yourself.

5.        Prepaid products bought using Timeless Rewards (eWallet) are sold under the Product Rules of the cellphone provider.

6.        You use the Timeless Rewards (eWallet) service with the knowledge that during periods of load shedding or power failures FNB cannot guarantee that the Timeless Rewards (eWallet) service will operate and FNB does not accept any liability for any losses or damages to anyone if this happens.

7.        You use the Timeless Rewards (eWallet) service with the knowledge that the eWallet service may be unavailable from time to time because of third party providers or because the system is down or due to maintenance of the system. CJR Gist Sales and FNB do not accept any liability for any losses or damages to anyone if this happens; this includes any indirect loss to you.

8.        If your SIM card is illegally swapped and fraudulently used, CJR Gift Sales and FNB will not be liable for any loss or damage that you might suffer in such circumstances.

9.        If you initiate a SIM swap or if you change your cellphone number in any manner, you are required to make sure that you inform CJR Gift Sales of your new cellphone number – CJR Gift Sales and FNB does not does not accept any liability for any losses or damages should you change your cellphone number and not inform CJR Gift Sales of this change.

10.      CJR Gift Sales and FNB will not be responsible any losses suffered by you in the event that you lose or accidentally disclose any eWallet information to third parties, including but not limited to the OTP, sent to you.

11.      CJR Gift Sales and FNB will not be responsible to you in the event that the funds in an eWallet are accessed by someone other than you provided that established FNB processes and procedures have been followed, for example if that cellphone number was churned and reallocated.

 

12.      CJR Gift Sales and FNB cannot guarantee that you will receive the notification message as this message is provided by cellphone service provider. CJR Gift Sales and FNB will not be responsible for any losses suffered by you or any party (directly and indirectly) if there is an operation failure or malfunction on the part of the cellphone provider.
